Principal's Message
Dear Ramapo Ridge Families:
This is a great time to be part of the Ramapo Ridge Middle School family! We remain engaged in advancing our programs, facilities, communication, services, and technology in exciting directions to offer the best middle school experience for our students, families, and staff.
We welcome an incoming class of 209 sixth grade students as well as all new families to our school community. Our total student enrollment is projected to be 601 students this year. We are confident that this school year will be comprised of inspiring breakthroughs, new discoveries, meaningful experiences, and rewarding moments through the shared efforts and contributions of our amazing students, supportive parents/guardians, and caring educators and professionals.
Our 2025-2026 school theme is: Wings Up – Rise Together, Reach Beyond.
Our staff is looking forward to partnering with parents/guardians to help students build upon their strengths, acquire new skills and healthy habits, and embrace positive opportunities in their overall growth and development. Along with the other schools in our district, we continue to be guided by Strategic Plan goals and objectives. As we engage this exciting work with our students and families, we foster a learning environment that supports students’ physical and emotional health/safety, drives development, and inspires future pathways.
Throughout their middle school experience, our students grow in the areas of self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, responsible decision-making, and relationship skills through our curriculum and programs – in the classroom and beyond the classroom. Our staff creates meaningful, real-world experiences for students, including with community-based experts, and continues to enhance overall school community communication and partnerships.
Everyone at the Ridge is charged to Commit 2 GRIT. We believe this collective commitment must be reflected in all that we do together and must remain focused on helping students to be: goal-oriented, good-hearted; resilient, responsible; inclusive, involved; and thoughtful, trustworthy.
