Student Council

Overview

Members of the student council are voted in by their peers. Candidacy is open to all students of Ramapo Ridge.  The positions available are:

6th grade: 4 Class Representatives

7th grade: Secretary, Treasurer and 4 Class Representatives

8th grade: President, Vice President and 4 Class Representatives

Students interested in becoming a part of the council should attend the interest meeting to gather information for the election process(listen for announcements, look for flyers).

The student council represents the student body. The student council takes the lead in various school events, spreads school spirit, and helps to foster student engagement in school and community life. Some examples of Student Council events are: School Dances, Halloween Showcase, Spirit Days/Weeks, Sports Night, LipSync Contest, Movie Night, fundraisers and many more.
